Peyraga, Chardonnay, Vin de France, Southwest France, 2025

Part of a new range of wines from the Dubard family who set up as winegrowers in the Bergerac region in the 1970s. From clay-limestone slopes comes this 100% Chardonnay with an expressive aromatic display - a dose of lemon juice and wild honey with some herbal touches too. Clean and well executed, it has a juicy core with some green apple, peach and almost tropical elements too which give a nice width. Finishes stony with a saline, mineral element. Delicious and so easy to drink.
