Sebastian Fürst is a master when it comes to whole-bunch ferments of Pinot Noir and even this village wine, from the Buntsandstein slopes of Bürgstadt, was fermented with 40% whole clusters. 

A slight reductive character lays a smoky veil over the cherry and peony hints on the nose. The palate is firm with fine tannins, just a whisper away from being crunchy. It's made vivid by its inherent mouthwatering freshness on a slender body that brims with red fruit.
