Sourced from 30 rows of Riesling vines growing at the organically farmed Hugel estate, in the heart of the grand cru Schoenenbourg, this Riesling shows perfect ripeness. Rich flavours of zesty lemons, pears and apricots run long and lean, with puckery acidity balancing some residual sugar that provides luscious mouthfeel. Showing beautiful length, purity and power, the primary flavours have combined seamlessly with rich secondary notes after almost 15 years in the cellar, yet nothing has diminished its freshness.
