This entry-level wine acts as a statement of style and intent. From the slatey vineyards around Wiltingen in the Saar, this was fermented spontaneously in stainless steel with a small proportion fermented in used oak. It spent some time on its gross lees, and despite the warmth of 2018 this is a clarion call of citrus. 

The palate has a lovely texture that speaks as much of citrus pith as of zest. All this comes packaged in an exquisitely light style with a dry and salty finish.
