A stunning medium-dry Riesling for a bargain price, from one of the top winemakers in the Saar. The lovely petrolly nose showcases its 15 years' of age, but the light-bodied palate is still remarkably fresh, with sweet orange acidity to balance the juicy, ripe stone fruit flavours. Luscious but not cloying, with a leafy finish. Excellent quality.
