The estate under the management of Mark Barth has established itself as a leading producer of sparkling Riesling, primarily from single-vineyard plots. This wine is different, distinctive and has a magnificent character. It displays fruit notes of candied vineyard peach and apple, spiced with a blend of nutmeg, cardamom and ginger. On the palate, it has a supremely delicate mousse. The ripeness of the fruit balances the mature, straightforward acidity. The sparkling wine plays with all these aspects and uses them to its advantage.
