Raumland is regarded as a pioneer of high-quality Winzersekt. Founded by Volker Raumland, the business is now run by his daughters Marie-Luise and Katharina. The Triumvirat is the flagship wine, aged on lees for 100 months. It is a beauty with ripe stone fruit notes such as peach, yellow apple and apple sauce, complemented by a hint of ginger and vanilla. On the palate, it is a soft, delicate mousse, with the acidity in harmony with the dosage; the long ageing on the lees has added a great deal of creaminess.
