Quality sekt is no longer an anomaly in Sachsen and it seems to be a speciality among the diverse offerings at Schloss Proschwitz. The Pas de Deux VDP Sekt is the flagship sparkler of this estate, a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vinified traditional-method, of course, and matured at least two years on lees. Green apple and lemon on the palate are zippy and fresh, bracingly effervescent and finishing with a fine coating of foam. VDP Member.
