Jochen Beurer has fully exploited the vintage advantage of 2020. With controlled idleness – minimum intervention – he has created a natural beauty. Already open-hearted, the wine exudes generous, juicy cherry fruit with nuances of raspberries, allspice and spice coming from using whole grapes during fermentation, followed by 20 months of ageing in 300-litre barrels. Polished tannins and good flow on the palate, with a long-lasting finish.
