A juicy, ripe nose of red and black cherry and red berry candy. The wine spent a year in French oak (partially new), followed by a further year in bottle, revealing notes of coffee and black tea that give way to blackberry and angelica root. Polished tannins and moreish freshness carry the wine forward, leading to a lingering, layered finish of brooding dark berries. A testament to the quality potential of Limniona, the ‘rediscovered’ red grape from Central Greece.
