2010 was among one of the cooler vintages in the Tokaji region. The wine was aged for 2.5 years in 15% new oak barrels. Acacia honey and cloves on a richly passionate nose of pineapple and apricot, with a complex, savoury layer of mushroom and humus. More exotic fruits, star anise, marmalade and dried apricot on the palate. Extremely intense, luscious and spicy, well-balanced by 10.9 g/l of acidity. The sweet spices and bitter tangerine peel stay on the long finish. An absolute delight.
