White pepper-spiced yellow fruits dominate the nose. Stewed peach, apricot and mango, plus a flinty, smokey edge. Dried apricot, acacia honey and more sweet spices on the exotic palate, with an undertone of bitter tangerine peel and crushed minerals to balance the 156 g/l of residual sugar. Dried apricot to finish, hinting at development. Aged for 20 months in 225-litre oak barrels.
