Good Drop Wine Cellars is one of India's most innovative wineries. Black cherry liqueur, preserved black fruits, hawthorn, prunes and a touch of herbal spices on the nose, it's juicy and savoury on the palate, with smoked prunes, dark cherry, a hint of wood vanilla, and high, balancing acidity, with very ripe tannins. A touch of umami on a slightly oxitised finish of burnt caramel and almonds. Cabernet Sauvignon, which accounts for 60% of the blend, was aged in French oak barrels for 6 months. The Shiraz was vinified separately, with one-month contact with oak chips.
