Vallonné Vineyards was founded by Shailendra Pai, India’s first wine professional-turned vintner, in 2009. The 2018 vintage enjoyed a mild and breezy winter followed by a warm summer, giving the Chenin Blanc a tropical nose of yellow apple, lanoline and pineapple, dusted by a pinch of sweet spice and white pepper. Pineapple pie, yellow apple fruits on the palate, refreshed by citrus and a firm streak of acidity (7.12 g/l), followed by a sweet, exotic finish.
