The palest of pale, this is a unique wine as few use this Douro variety for rosé. White floral aromas emphasise the paleness before opening up to more complex notes of blood orange, ripe citrus, cloves, nutmeg and more white flowers. It has a fine chalky texture with fresh acidity and long, structured minerality from high altitude volcanic soils. Still very closed and young, this is a rosé for ageing to allow the fruit to emerge.
