This Cabernet Sauvignon-Petit Verdot-Cabernet Franc is from vineyards in the far south of the Judean Hills, closest to the Negev desert. While quite fragrant and minty on the nose, the palate is somewhat austere at present. However, the hints of blackcurrant, pepper and violet point to a wine that's got the credentials to develop gracefully. It needs time, but the wait will be worth it.
