Aged in oak for 12 months, this Piedirosso hails from steep vineyards only accessible by ancient paths, on the south side of the island of Ischia, where Italy’s earliest Greek settlements emerged during the 8th century BCE. There’s a balsamic, medicinal character that mingles with scents and flavours of fenugreek seed, wild herbs and earthy dark cherry, recalling the wild landscape. Intense and aromatic.
