This wine has risen to become the estate’s flagship, a pure expression of the rocky and windy Sassella sub-zone, known for its wines’ structure, minerality and ageing potential. Just released, this 100% Nebbiolo shows a brilliant garnet colour and a confident mix of ripe cherries layered with cinnamon, chocolate and a distinct mineral backbone. Its firm tannins are nonetheless juicy, balanced by vibrant acidity and built to evolve long and gracefully. Dreaming of this with porcini risotto.
