Since 2014, Ar Pe Pe has been experimenting with longer macerations seeking greater complexity and balance. This Rosso sees a lengthy 130 days on the skins. Self-assured yet unpretentious, it offers oodles of joyous drinkability. While the summer of 2018 was warmer than average, the cool nights leading up to harvest helped preserve aromas. Scents of tea and white pepper are assertive and focussed. The palate is lithe, lovely and fluid, with powdery tannins melting into the strawberry core. It finishes clean with a peppermint twist.
