Straw yellow in colour with a flicker of kiwi green, this 100% Pinot Noir hails from their highest single plot at 540 metres in Rocca de’ Giorgi, in the heart of Oltrepò. The aromas move in waves of red berries, spring flowers and subtle balsamic notes, with a light trace of lemon peel and lees-derived bread crust. The palate is vibrant and savoury, driven by freshness and a firm mineral spine, leading to a textbook persistence on the finish, where fruit and salinity linger in equal measure.
