From this small 3ha property in Serralunga, Franco Anselma sometimes makes two Riservas. This bottling - a blending of two crus - is highly individual, with a rich, smoky, tarry nose exuding cherry and tobacco aromas. It's very rich, opulent and full-bodied in the mouth, a highly concentrated wine with massive but ripe tannins and good depth of fruit. The length is impressive, with some liquorice and savoury tones on the finish.
