Cola cubes, baked patisserie, grilled strawberries, toasted bread, fragranced cherries, dried flowers and medicinal herbs - such a wonderful aromatic profile, you could sit and smell this for hours. Polished and taught, a lovely sense of chalky, powdery minerality on the palate against wood and toast elements that give a spiced base that lingers, reminding you that this is still young and not quite yet ready to start drinking but it's extremely elegant and polished. A serious wine with so much potential for long ageing. Lovely mouthwatering acidity, really quite salty, but with a tension that keeps everything straight. A wonderful combination that will be incredible when it's ready. One of three new Cannubi wines released from Borgogno for the first time as they make their debut on the Place de Bordeaux.  Less than 200 bottles released for sole distribution on the Place.
