Riserva

Panera Alta Riserva is the top cru in Roero from Bric Castelvej, mostly based on sandy soil around Canale d'Alba. The wine is fermented in stainless steel, with malolactic fermentation and ageing for 30 months in tonneaux. There's a hint of spice from the oak on the nose, which is focused on sweet cherry fruit. Supple on the palate, it's complex and quite modern in style.
