An open-knit Barbaresco focused on spices, dried cherry and smoky woodland notes, with a subdued floral character. Savoury and delicious to drink, it's neither light nor simple. The palate is velvety, almost salty and its structure packs a punch of tension and balance, with ripe, slightly grainy tannins on the finish. Definitely one of the best quality/price ratios for Barbaresco.
