Sumptuous but slightly overripe black cherry fruit on the nose. Rich and broad, it’s a fleshy style showing ample black fruits. Tannic for Barbera, which is probably oak-derived. Concentrated and peppery, it’s solid and spicy, and is impressive in a somewhat overwrought style.
