This once renowned property was bought in 2012 by the Rossi Cairo family, who are determined to revive it and are converting the vineyards to organic farming. This wine is an elegant expression of their Serralunga fruit. The nose shows bright raspberry fruit with some intensity and a light, floral character. Sleek and bright, it's reasonably concentrated and fresh, showing finesse as well as sturdiness. The mid-palate is robust and persuasive, and there's some drive on the long finish.
