Antonio Deltetto, winemaker in the Roero, has been producing sparkling wines since the 1990s, and more recently discovered a passion for Metodo Classico in the nearby Alta Langa area. The Pinot Noir and Chardonnay of this Brut come from vineyards in Roddino, a village overlooking the Barolo hills where Deltetto has moved all of its sparkling wine production. The wine has an elegant perlage that announces enveloping aromas of bergamot, hawthorn flowers and chestnut honey. In the mouth, the play between acidity, salinity and bitter touch is exhilarating. The mousse is fine and elegant; a caress on the palate.
