Favorita is the local name for Vermentino. The grapes for this wine are sourced from steep, sandy vineyards, fermented and matured in stainless steel. The result is a wine with a lovely floral nose and notes of juicy cantaloupe and honeydew melon. It has a viscous quality in the mouth, carrying flavours of lemon rind, melon, pear and some florality. Fresh and almost mineral, this should be enjoyed with seafood or goats cheese and freshly baked bread.
