This incredible sparkling wine is produced by Gancia right in its centuries-old cellars in Canelli, where the saga of Italian sparkling wine began. A wine from another era, the soft pressing of the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay bunches is still carried out with the monumental Marmonier press. After the second fermentation, the wine sinks into a 10-year refinement in the cool heart of the cellars. Upon its ‘awakening’, it is a Brut of notable complexity and finesse, with very fine foam accompanied by aromas of toasted dried fruit, amaretto and vanilla. The mouth is enveloping, pure and deep, marked by the return of hazelnut notes and a mineral and persistent finish.
