Baked strawberries and pink flowers on the nose, smells fruity, floral and herbal - lifted and full of aromatic intensity. Supple and charming from the get go, intensely juicy - the acidity really gives the cherry and raspberry a tangy, sharpness to the expression while the tannins are chalky coating the mouth in a fine powder supporting the red berry fruits. Round, generous, bright and really well delineated, you feel the sinew of this, it has muscles but gentle and sculpted. A core of spiced, wet stone minerality and olive gives the savoury offset and adds complexity and interest. A lovely, elegant glass of wine with nuance.
