Oz Clarke: A full, quite rich, ripe apple sauce flavour with spice and baked red cherry.  The Nebbiolo tannins are fairly relentless but not overbearing, and held in check by some lingering scent.        
Sarah Jane Evans MW: A dark, savoury wine with firm, dry tannins and fruit that's hidden under a black velvet cloak with a spicy finish.        
Tina Gellie: There are apple overtones here. It's oxidative and fresh but a bit too cider-like.
