Dedicated exclusively to sparkling wine (save one small exception), Marcalberto is a name to remember in the budding Alta Langa category. While the Extra Brut is an excellent introduction to the estate, this limited 100% Pinot Noir cuvée represents further innovation. As the name suggests, it sees no dosage but is also made without any added sulphur. Subtle vanilla, croissant and baked apple make for an appetising nose. The palate is deeply flavourful, rich but racy. Juicy orchard fruit is cradled in creamy, almost silken mousse. Finishes with a lingering toasted nuttiness.
