Correggia is a highly reputed producer of Roero, offering three different bottlings. Val dei Preti is the mid-level wine, grown mostly on sandy soils, cropped low, and aged half in large casks and half in new barriques. 

The red-fruited nose is subtle and understated now, and while the palate is medium-bodied it shows considerable intensity, with flavours of redcurrants, mint and exotic spice. Good acidity contributes to the wine's elegance and length of flavour.
