Negro Giuseppe is based on the Gallina road in Neive, where graceful Barbarescos are produced. This wine is mostly aged in 500L oak barrels for 24 months. It has a fragrant, vinous cranberry, cherry jam-like aroma, while the palate is crunchy with ripe tannins. There's no dustiness, and it's balanced by refreshing acidity. A bit one-dimensional yet harmonious.
