An intense, fresh, varietal nose with great aromatic definition of raspberry, violets and fresh tobacco leaf, with the classic touches of sage and white pepper. The palate is full but supple, with ripe tannins and a long, smooth, fruit-driven progression towards a complex aromatic finish. From Canavese, an area of low morenic soil hills in the south of Piemonte, which is emerging as a source of very approachable – but no less satisfying – Nebbiolo.
