Undergoing additional ageing, this old-vine bottling from Serraboella's warmest slope has wonderful aromas of wild strawberry, thyme and mint. In the mouth it's tight and energetic, not giving away too much at the moment. A firm core of red fruits interspersed with sottobosco notes is surrounded by wood and grape tannins and some fresh acidity, with balsamic herbal edges. Needs time to unlock all its charms. Just one barrel produced every year.
