Aged in used barriques, this demonstrates upfront red berry purity with well embedded sweet spice and persistent nuances of rose. Though this could do with a bit more complexity, there is lovely fruit concentration and an appealing mineral drive through the mid-palate, all heightened by a fresh orange bite on the finish. Possesses enough stuffing and soft, powdery tannins for mid-term drinking enjoyment. Introduced in 2019, the estate’s Pajorè bottling hails from 50-year-old vines on a west-facing parcel at 250 metres.
