Early vintages of this Cabernet Franc - such as 2006 and 2007 - were good but not exceptional, but in recent years it has come into its own. Unlike the Lessona wines, it exhibits ample but not dominant oak, with flavours of blackcurrant and mint. It's rich and spicy but also fresh and luminous, although it does tail off slightly on the finish.
