Although the cherry-scented nose here is reticent (and less vibrant than it was in 2018), it remains polished and elegant. The attack is supple but spicy, with fine texture and enough bright acidity to lift the palate. Yet overall the wine now seems a touch subdued, with a finish that's long but solid.
