Prunotto's 2020 Ceretta is very restrained, almost austere on the nose at first; mineral and chalky, it has typical Serralunga notes of sealing wax, redcurrants, violets and cinnamon. Great concentration with filigree tannins, super-fresh acidity, and a long, dense aftertaste. It's incredible how much losing a half-point of alcohol can positively affect the elegance of Barolo today; an amazing wine.
