Cannonau di Sardegna

Medium

Cork

In line with a trend towards lighter wines, this juicy Cannonau – better known outside Sardinia as Grenache or Garnacha – is a well-priced wine that offers both the richness and sunshine of Sardinia alongside more fresh fruit, less sticky oak and lower alcohol. It's a winning combination, and its plummy red fruit, ripe but unobtrusive tannins and gentle acidity make it a must-try wine for lovers of Côtes du Rhône or Primitivo.
