Natural Cork

An intense wine with a notable structure and aromas of crushed red berries, thyme and nutmeg. On the palate it is rich, with sweet tannins, well-defined fruit, lean acidity and an elegant, stylish finish. Comes from 1ha of 12-year-old Cannonau facing southeast at 600m. Fermentation is spontaneous, followed by maceration of about 15 days. It matures in a 50-hectolitre oak barrel for about a year and refines in bottle for almost two.
