Ungrafted bush vines lapping the turquoise waters of the Sant’Antioco Island produce a dark ruby red that underwent spontaneous fermentation followed by 6 months in used barrels and 6 months in bottle. Earthy violets, carobs and myrtle give way to grilled herbs, animal musk, and dark chocolate. Mouthwatering salinity and spicy garrigue touches slice through a bountiful of sweet but pristine black fruits, outlining a terrifically juicy progression with a charming, floral and subtly herbal finish. Excellent with tuna or rich pasta dishes.
