This blend of 80% Nerello Mascalese and 20% Nerello Cappuccio from Contrada da Santo Spirito in Passopisciaro on Etna's north side is fresh and earthy, displaying baked red fruit aromas. Vibrant cherry flavours are accompanied by volcanic finesse, making for a simple yet intense, juicy and mouthwatering red.

This aromatic field blend of around 80% Nerello Mascalese and 20% Cappuccio from 100-year-old vines is vinified in stainless steel then matured for 24 months in large oak barrels. Fresh scents of red and black cherries, lavender and balsam rise from the glass. In the mouth its grainy tannins and bright, gum-tingling acidity support slightly firm and earthy hedgerow fruits.
