Riserva

Produced since 2002, this is Ferrari's only blanc de noirs, sourced from the family's estate vineyards. Like the Bianco Riserva, it undergoes extended lees ageing of seven years and the 2015 was disgorged in 2022. Hints of black cherry, nougat and citrus peel lead into a palate that's slightly weightier than the Bianco Riserva, with some ripe, slightly creamy yet delicate red fruits. There's plenty of patisserie, cream and spice here, but it's balanced by high acidity. A fizz for food.
