Vertical and fleshy, Colore 2023 combines dark fruits and chewy, grippy tannins with menthol freshness. Fresh and poised, it has a depth to it courtesy of 90-year-old vines from Lamole, pepped up by younger vines from Olmo and Vincigliata. Olive brine and wild herbs occupy the mid-palate, lending complexity and a beautiful savoury character, while the underlying generosity of fruit lingers long on the saline finish.
