Bindi Sergardi's Tenuta Mocenni estate is situated at 500 metres in the commune of Castelnuovo Berardenga. '89' refers to the number of parcels on the survey map from which they source the grapes for this Gran Selezione. 

Pretty and fragrant, it offers violet and sage blossom aromas atop well-defined forest berries. It's smooth and polished on the palate and the tannins are already supple. It could do with a bit more snappy acidity but overall it's a very appealing, candid wine, finishing with sweet Mediterranean herbs.
