For Bellezza, winemaker Federico Cerelli is slowly increasing the amount of 15hl Roverella botti (made from local Tuscan oak trees) and here it represents 50%. The remainder ages in barriques, which have been reduced to 20% new wood. 

Intense cherry and cocoa aromas lead into an exuberant mouthful of sweet, ripe fruit, toasted wood and vanillin. There's plenty of concentration on the palate, with chewy tannins to match. It will appeal to enthusiasts of a big, bold style.
