Super-fresh and clean, you wouldn't think this wine is from the same year as Woodstock and the first commercial flight of the Boeing 747! Fragrant dried red fruits and fresh cherry and strawberry rise from the glass, mirrored in the mouth and accompanied by some wood and spice in the background. The tannins are fully mature and integrated, making for an elegant, streamlined palate. The finish is delicate and earthy, with a line of sweet cherry and mahogany furniture. Still alive.
