2013 is the third vintage of this wine, and its first with organic certification. Nastagio is a historic area on the Sant'Angelo hill, replanted in 2006 following years of research and development at Col d'Orcia into clonal and rootstock selection, density and soil preparation. 

At this stage in its evolution it isn't terribly expressive. While pepper, herb and mocha scents are coaxed from the nose, the palate is still shy and austere, giving the impression of slightly hard tannins. It may come around with more time in the bottle.
